I am not the only one who is weary of using Chad Gilstrap as an appraiser in Wichita. He does not have the knowledge or experience needed to value homes for what they are worth.... not even close. Trust me when I say that numerous realtors, lenders, other appraisers, etc. know who he is, and do not wish to use him. He is extremely left-leaning politically, so any seller he may deal with better make sure that they do not have any indication that they are Republican shown in their homes. If so, Chad will value their property at $203,000, when really it is worth $245,000 based upon multiple other comps in the same area, and make the deal completely fall through. Do not let the fact that he is a "pastor" fool you. STAY AWAY FROM ANY APPRAISER IN WICHITA, KS WITH THE LAST NAME GILSTRAP.
