We received a very poor appraisal from MAD Inspections, so poor it forced us to cancel our refinance and pursue another option with a different lender. MAD inspection's appraisal came in at $200,000 below what the second appraiser estimated the value of our home to be, and they used proper dimensions when calculating the square footage of the living space, unlike the appraiser from MAD. I would be wary of using their services.
