What a bitter disappointment! Our daughter and son in law received an appraisal on their house from Pamela Newkirk this week. She gave them a very low appraisal and didn't even use houses in their neighborhood as her "comps". She used houses in a neighborhood across a main street from them and those houses are not anything like the ones in their area. She refused to even discuss this or choose houses that were in their area. It is pretty sick how much money they lost because of this POOR appraisal and we have no recourse. The realtor ask her to review it again and compare "apples to apples" but she refused. I would never recommend an appraiser that is not willing to listen to reason.
