Charles Toussas appraised my home for a purchase through Chase Bank. The home is on a large lot on a in a prime location. Charles was rude to the realtor representing the homeowner and she knew that the appraisal would not go well based on his demeanor while appraising the property. He used comparable properties that were not similar to the property. He did not give the homeowner credit for having an oversized lot. Charles appraisal came back below purchase price and caused a significant problem with closing and a significant financial loss to the homeowner. This is the first time I have written a review. I believe appraisers have a responsibility to treat homeowners fairly when appraising their property . Charles Toussas did not treat this homeowner fairly and submitted an appraisal that favors the bank and the buyer while making significant errors in his valuation.
